Insurance Information

Medical and prescription insurance allows residents of Orlando and other areas in Central and South Florida to access the exceptional care that they deserve for interventional pain management services. National Pain Institute works with several insurance carriers that offer coverage in our service area.

Are the Treatments at National Pain Institute Covered by Medical Insurance?

Many insurance policies include benefits for our interventional pain management services. You can verify your coverage by contacting your insurance company.

Do You Accept My Medical and Prescription Insurance?

National Pain Institute accepts several types of insurance that are available for residents of Central and South Florida, and we are continuously working to ensure that our patients are able to access their benefits for our services.

What is the Difference Between In-Network and Out-of-Network?

For some insurance policies, providers are either considered in-network or out-of-network. You can receive care at both types of providers. The primary difference is that your insurance may pay a lower amount for an out-of-network provider compared to one that is in-network. Out-of-pocket costs should not limit your options for interventional pain management services. The physicians’ expertise and experience with the treatments is important for achieving the best possible outcomes.

Can I Use My Insurance for the Onsite Pharmacy and Lab Services?

If we accept your insurance for the cost of our interventional pain management services, we likely also accept your coverage for pharmacy and lab services. The exception may be if these services are covered under a separate policy.

What If My Insurance Does Not Cover the Entire Cost of Care?

Whatever portion of the cost is not covered by insurance is your responsibility, and payment is expected at the time of service. Most insurance policies require patients to pay some portion, such as co=pays, deductibles and co-insurance. Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card. We encourage you to discuss your benefits with the insurance company prior to your first appointment.

How Much Will I Need to Pay at the Time of Service?

Self-pay patients and those whose insurance we do not accept will need to pay the full cost of treatment at the time of service, including the fee for the consultation. Insured patients may need to pay a portion in the form of a co-payment, deductible or co-insurance.

Finding an interventional pain management specialist who works with common types of insurance may be challenging. National Pain Institute offers these types of services for residents of Orlando, as well as other communities in Central and South Florida. Contact us today to learn more about the insurances that we accept and to schedule your personal consultation with one of our pain management physicians.
